Joseph D'Lacey donated this book to Bookcrossing!

Woohoo! I've done it!
I've read all the way to the end of a D'Lacey book. Partly because he gave it to us and partly because it's only 80 pages long.
A packed 80 pages including twists and turns. At last an author who realises that you don't have to stretch things out until they become a mindnumbing expanse of adjectives and adverbs just to get to 400 pages.
Now I feel confident as I move on to The Garbage Man (340 pages and also given to us)
Thank you Joseph D'Lacey, you rock

I finished this book in 90 minutes after reading the first page.

It was a pretty okay post-apocalyptic story, with interesting twists. I also really liked the female main character.

At the moment I'm waiting for the address to the next person in line, so I can send it on.

I quite liked this little tale. The twist on zombie stories was especially nice, and unexpected. My next comment is a bit spoilerly, so highlight to read it I kept thinking of the computer game Plants vs. Zombies -- what if the plants WERE the zombies :-)

Another winner by JDL :-)!!

Waiting on address for Kerbam and I will get this going

Just wanted to write a note since Ive had this book for entirely too long. First, I wanted to finish another book, so I could send that one along to NMReader as well, like innae did for me. Delay #2, is now my PayPal is acting up, and I haven't had a chance to run to the post office. I promise that I will get this out by Saturday. I'm so sorry for the delay!

What a great surprise in the mail today - one ring and one ray packaged together! Thank you for sending me both and I'm grateful they are both fast reads! lol.

I can't wait to give this a read. I love horror, love zombies and I think hubby will enjoy this one as well. Looks like I'm last on the ray list so I will check with the host to be sure.

6 out of 10

I read this very quickly and really enjoyed it. The story sounded a little familar though and I am wondering if there was a movie based on this story? I know I didn't read the book before this read. Either way, it was a good and enjoyable story. I liked the main character alot. Thank you for sharing this with me and it will be traveling very soon!

13Oct10: Hubby just finished reading this today indicating he didn't get the take that commuters were zombies at all, said it was an okay read but he was glad it was a quick read. He is a zombie traditionalist I guess.

From our combined reads, I am giving it an average rating.

Received this as part of an amazingly generous RABCK package. THANK YOU so very much, my friend...you do know how to bring a smile to my face!

Hmmmm...an post-apocalyptic story...sounds like I'll be losing this one to DS before I get a chance to read it...can only hope it won't get lost amidst the teenage clutter too long, because it sounds like an interesting read.
