This book was a yard sale find. It was a bit beat up, so I decided to give it a face lift!
It is a hard cover book, but didn't have a paper jacket when I got it. There was an illustration printed on the front. So I got some fabric paints, colored in the pic, added the title/author, and labeled it a "Traveling Book."
The spine was a little bit loose, and the title that had been there was worn off. So I taped the spine with clear tape then added the title & BookCrossing.com to the spine.
The very first and last (blank) pages were covered in scribbles, so I removed them. The insides of the covers were pretty bad, too, so I covered them with construction paper.
The title page was dirty, and one page of the story is marked up, but there was nothing I could think of to do about it, so they are still that way.
Finally, I added a 2 Bookcrossing Labels with BCIDs--one to the exterior of the back cover, and one to the interior of the front cover.
I had fun rejuvenating this book and reading the cute story inside. I hope that a lot more people will have fun reading & sharing it!
