When Doctor Jennifer Page returns home with her little sister Lisa, they find the town of Snowfield eerily quiet. No one is left alive. Every person in town has died or disappeared, some while making dinner, with no warning at all, others with a look or mortal terror frozen into their faces. What could have caused this? A homicidal maniac? Mass insanity? Germ warfare? A chemical spill? A monster from another world? Or the Devil himself?
Jennifer and Lisa call in the police, and even the Army to find out what happened, what's STILL happening, and it becomes clear that whatever caused this isn't finished, and none of them may make it out alive. But even in the midst of so much death, people discover the value of life, and learn that life is too short and too precious to just give up. While there is life, there is hope.

I plan to release this on September 15, 2003 (my one-year BookCrossing anniversary), most likely in a video store, since it was made into a movie.

Released on Monday, September 15, 2003 at Movie Gallery near Opelika Wal-Mart in Opelika, Alabama USA.

I plan to release this book near the movie sometime this afternoon. I joined BookCrossing a year ago today, so I figured I'd release a book that relates to my screen name, and I've already released my copy of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
