Taking from the Food bookbox - thanks!

I really liked the idea of a story about mermaids, I mean Undersea Folk, as we are told they are called and I think the series is very original and creative. I didn't really grow to like the characters much however and was a little tired of their casual profanity by the end of the book. The other thing that prevented me from giving this book a higher rating is that the ending was so unbelievable to me and way over the top. I wanted to like this book more. It is the third in the series and despite what I've said, I would read the first two if I come across them to see if they started out better! This was a super quick read I got through in about 2 hours.
