Picked this up at a second-hand bookstore for relatively cheap (thanks Moriquen for the suggestion!) Have never read any of these "No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency" books, so when i saw this for cheap, i thought i would give it a whirl.

Well, this was the first book i read in this series, and i actually liked it more than i thought i would. It was a VERY quick read, but there was a quiet wisdom and elegance in the writing, and while the 'mystery' itself was not that exciting or stupifying in its resolution, i still liked reading about Mma. Ramotswe and her intrepid assistant.

Generally a good book, and if i come across others for cheap, i will probably pick them up.
