Juliet, Naked
4 journalers for this copy...
This was chosen for our monthly book club, I must say I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this. I've never read anything by Nick Hornby before and I found his style of writing very easy going and a joy to read.
I really enjoyed the characters, their relationships with each other and the often stupid thoughts, ideas and actions they took which are both surprising and at times hilarious.
This has made me want to read more by Nick Hornby so I'll be on the look out for Fever Pitch and High Fidelity soon.
I'll pass this onto KT-J now.
Next: Will Self – A Story for Europe

Received from Stubee and will start this as soon as I've finished my current read. I love Nick Hornby's books so I'm looking forward to reading this.
Stubee, I've got High Fidelity, you just need to find it in the masses of boxes of books!
Edit 21/6/2010: I finished this book ages ago but having been away and busy I've not got round to journalling it yet! I enjoyed this book, I liked the characters and enjoyed their interactions throughout the story. I didn't like this as much as some of his other books, I don't think anything will live up to High Fidelity or About A Boy for me, but it was a good read with a lot of humour and pathos.
I've passed this back to Stubee now.
