A first novel that showed promise and was an OK read. One problem is that it seemed to want to be several novels at once, but that is a common problem with literary debuts. I found this descriptive review on the net (NB! slight spoilerage, so if sensitive, you should probably just try to catch the book and read it): http://www.sfreviews.net/belarus.html

This was a suprisingly good read, very enjoyable. I liked how the characters were developed, often this is a sadly ignored part in sci-fi novels. Looking forward to the next Lee Hogan novel.
