I have had this book since 1994 & am only now getting around to reading it. Was it worth the wait, I ask myself. Not really, but it wasn't a bad read, just a bit silly. Better than the first book, Catnap. I think Douglas could have left out the cat torture & concentrated on human-torturers. Cats Karma & Caviar add little to the success of the story & would have been better left out. Interesting developments on the Matt Devine side of things.
