I freaked out and bought a copy of Cosmopolitan magazine because it came with this free book when I was waiting at Liverpool Station about to embark on a cross Europe rail and ferry adventure to get to Amsterdam during the volcanic ash cloud fly ban. I had spent such a stressful day re-routing myself on various forms of transport that I completely forgot to pack my book and faced 12 hours or more of travel with the last 80 pages of the book I was finishing at the time. I'm sure you can understand my plight.

It's a sorry day indeed when even a dodgy chick lit book is seen as a comfort.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this book. It wasn't a great literary work and the plot was wafer thin but jollyed along and kept my interest. There even a couple of cute and quick moments of wit thrown in which I really wasn't expecting! I lazed about the park and on the roof of my houseboat reading this book last weekend on one of the first warm sunny days we've had this year.
