A friend introduced me to this author about a year ago and I have quickly read all I could find. Now I buy them to introduce my BookCrossing friends to a new author. I believe this was the first book that I read by Emily Grayson. Grayson writes a heart-touching story. I compare this author's writing to that of Nicholas Sparks. When I spotted it at a local thrift shop, I decided to purchase the copy in hopes to share this author. I have read several by this author and this one is a touch sad in comparison to the others. Still a lovely and elegantly written story. ~ ~ ~ Once yearly for 50 years, Martin and Claire meet at the gazebo. They both long ago married other people yet remained faithful to their vow to love each other always. Martin tries to tell his story to a young editor named Abby but she is too busy to listen. But Abby is drawn to this gazebo awaiting the arrival of Martin and Claire. She waits and waits but no one comes. After finding the briefcase Martin leaves for her, she begins to discover the astonishing story of Martin and Claire. Its a tale, you will never forget.
