Got in Kathmandu.
The best book ever I think I read about the Viet Nam war. Written as fiction but oddly the writer wrote himself into the book.

Left in the Cyber cafe. No one blame me for all the underlining in the book. It appears the book was used as a text for school at one point.

Hi there...saw you'd released a few historical style books and as one of my colleagues is a real history buff, I stopped by and picked up this one and one other.
It is credit to how fast he devours books that he'd read it even before I journaled it. He said he was particularly fond of the first chapter, found it very well written.
I want to read it too, then maybe I'll bring it back to where I found it...

I read this last week. It's an amazing book. Beautiful, sad, true and honest. It's unusual in the feel of truth that runs through it, while still making you wonder what truth is. Some parts were very hard to read, but I think it a story that needs to be both told and read. Wonderful, bright writing. I wonder how much was the author's own experiences, and how much fiction.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Left this today at Mike's Breakfast in Baluwatar, on the table with the newspapers and magazines. I'd stopped for a quick brunch on my way to work (this used to be a favourite haunt, but lately I rarely have time to stop in here). Most of the tables were filled, so hopefully a new reader will find and take it home, as happened last time I left a book here!
