Here are the guidelines:
1. Keep the box no longer than 2 weeks, please. You will just be putting books in and taking them out.
2. Journal the box as soon as you get it.
3. PM the next person on the list, so you have an address to mail it off right away.
4. Journal when you send the bookbox to the next person.
5. No two of the same book. If the book is already in the box, don't put another one in. We want to keep a variety of books for others to pick from.
6. Books need to be in good condition.
7. No romance.
8. The book must have been registered by someone other than yourself.
9. Write in the journal kept with the box and keep it with the box.
10. Take out CLOSE to the number of books you put in. If you put in 3, you can take out three. But if the box is full you may put in 2 and take out 3.

What an interesting assortment of books!
I received the box at the beginning of Labor Day Weekend, and used my holiday from work to read three of the "ABC" books:
1. Light on Snow
2. Who Moved My Cheese
3. The Eternal Bond

I am placing Light on Snow Back into the box. It's a terrific book, and I want other readers to have the opportunity to enjoy it.

My replacement books are Our Town by Thornton Wilder (registered by 4Libros) and My Grandfather's Blessings by Rachel Naomi Remen (registered by PaulsBooks)

The next participant is Erishkigal. Her home is not far from mine, so I will be hand-delivering the ABC Bookbox to her tomorrow, Sept. 9th.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

Finally travelling again, to k00kaburra in San Jose, CA! New box, in good condition. The post office made me cover the sides with brown tape because it was a box that used to hold beer bottles. Who knew? I guess you can't send ex-liquor boxes in the mail without covering all the writing. Anyway, that's the reason for the over-zealous tape job, but it ought to hold this box together for a long time!

Here are the guidelines:
1. Keep the box no longer than 2 weeks, please. You will just be putting books in and taking them out.
2. Journal the box as soon as you get it.
3. PM the next person on the list, so you have an address to mail it off right away.
4. Journal when you send the bookbox to the next person.
5. No two of the same book. If the book is already in the box, don't put another one in. We want to keep a variety of books for others to pick from.
6. Books need to be in good condition.
7. No romance.
8. The book must have been registered by someone other than yourself.
9. Write in the journal kept with the box and keep it with the box.
10. Take out CLOSE to the number of books you put in. If you put in 3, you can take out three. But if the box is full you may put in 2 and take out 3.
