This book arrived today in a shoebox full of westerns. Max Brand is one of my husband's favorite western writers. I am sure he will enjoy this book.

Edit September 8, 2017: I really enjoyed this one, with its mix of humor and adventure, and good old yarn-spinning. The Lanky character is one of the more unforgettable characters in any genre. I currently have this ranked at #237 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
