I like her suspense thrillers. Quote on back of book: "A gripping tale...the suspense is upheld to the very end. ...A rewarding experience." That sounds like Mary Stewart's books, all right.
This was indeed a thriller, with suspense as described by the review quote above. Linda Martin goes to France to be governess to a young French boy. However, odd things begin to happen, and she can't quite tell whether they are accidents or someone is trying to get rid of the boy. What can she do to care for the boy?
