1981 Watermill Classic paperback of the 1882 story of two look-alikes boys from opposite social classes. I found this copy last year in the free books pile on the porch of Dimond Library.

I can let this go after I read:
1864 The Christmas Fireside (for Good Little Boys and Girls) (short story) [read 2011]
1867 The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County (short story) [read 2010]
1868 General Washington's Negro Body-Servant (short story) [read 2011]
1869 The Innocents Abroad [read 2011]
1876 The Adventures of Tom Sawyer [read 2008]
1880 Baker's Bluejay Yarn (short story) [read 2011]
1880 What Stumped the Bluejays (short story from A Tramp Abroad) [read 2011]
1880 Edward Mills And George Benton: A Tale (short story) [read 2011]

Edit April 19, 2011: I enjoyed this tale, fantastical enough to be almost the "true" story of Prince Edward VI, who inadvertently one day takes on the life of the pauper Tom Canty, and is rescued by Miles Hendon, later made Earl of Kent.

Aside from loving shared books, my main passion in life is supporting the human rights work of my good friend, Anni Cyrus. đź’– đź’– Her life story of survival as a childhood refugee is astounding, and quite moving!
