I loved 2/3 of this novel, which I found extremely thrilling. The ending, however, was too " Dan Brownish" to my opinion.

book arrived safely. thanks for trading. hope you enjoy Kate Atkinson.
(17.05.2010): Finished the book today and have to agree with tamsine. It's an enjoyable read, the idea behind it is really cool but the ending is a bit over the top and kind of spoils the really nice and interesting beginning. It is written a lot better though than a Dan Brown novel will ever be... ;) And it really made me want to read Pinocchio again.
Will turn it into a Ring. Please read and pass on within 8 weeks. Thank you!

Caught here in Austria. Thank you Kikoyu for sending, and to LilyKlip for offering it up as a Ring! Looks like it's a lovely read!
Who would have thought that reading books out loud could be so dangerous? --For someone who usually stays away from this kind of genre I found it a truly gripping, enjoyable read! I loved the central idea of "transmitters" and "receivers" and the speculation of what could happen if this were possible. Loved the random references to various works of World Literature.
Mailed the book to Silvia-pco in Portugal today. Enjoy!
And here it is! Mount TBR pile is at a considerable height but I'll keep you posted on my progress. Thanks for sharing!
First of all, I'm sorry I kept this book for so long. Life got in the way of my reading habits :)
I really liked this book, I have never read anything like it. It is a fresh theme, and a truly great idea to explore the power of reading in the way it was done here. I would have never thought you could come up with a plot involving secret organizations and mysterious murders based on that idea. It was a very enjoyable read and I now look forward to reading more books by this author.
The book will be on its way to Nakipa by Monday. Thanks for sharing!
