There were several places where there this book had me laughing out loud and a lot of the time I had a huge grin on my face. This is not your usual style of crime story!

All the funniest bits were in Part 1 and I did find Part 2 just a little bit tedious in places, but it too had its moments. The ending was not at all what I expected.

I've been letting this hide in the depths of mount TBR for two years! How embarrassing! It comes from double-parking books on the shelves.

I found it very entertaining, but liked the second part more than the first, or rather I was starting to find part one too long drawn out when part two started and my interest was rekindled.

It is reserved now for dotdot, and should be in the mail within the next week or so.

Book arrived today. Thanks a lot, nyassa. I've seen a movie or TV-series and liked it. I believe I'll like the book, too.

Edit July 28th 2008: I got another copy of this book from a friend today. I try and find a new home for this one. It has been on my bookshelf for way too long.

Thank you dotdot for sending the book to me. It arrived safely a while ago but I started reading it right away and forgot to make a journal entry. Sorry.

I like the book so far even though none of the characters are very likable. I'll write more after I finish it.
