Hardcover. Read this for our book discussion group. First half a little slow, second half picked up quite a bit. This is the story of an Irish woman almost 100 years old, who has been in a mental hospital longer than anyone knows, and they are not sure why. The hospital is being torn down, and Dr. Grene must evaluate all the patients to see if they can be freed or must be moved to a new facility. Roseanne begins to write an account of her life as she remembers it, which she keeps secret under a floorboard. The doctor tries to track down her history, and discovers an account written by her local priest which is quite different from what she relates. But what is the truth?

Picked this up at today's meetup in Baltimore, MD. It was great meeting you, Bookczuk! This one looks interesting, so I'm keeping it to read.
I tried to read this, but after nearly 100 pages I just could not spot any signs of a plot and decided I didn't care enough to keep going. Hopefully the next person will enjoy it.
Picked up at the BC-in-DC get together on Saturday, probably to release on OBCZ shelf at work.
