Here is the book ray order for this book. Please PM the next person in line for their address when you are ready to release the book to them. If they do not respond within three days, PM them again. If they do not respond within a week of your first message, PM the person after them and contact me. I keep my book rays open unless they get too unwieldy, so the order may change (I try to keep it geographically sensible.)

First, a big YIKES and apology. I forgot to journal this book when it arrived on March 5.

This is a lovely little book and I'm so pleased kayters is sharing it. The "tales" seem to be short tales of wisdom and encouragement that this Quaker minister delivered or would deliver to his Friends meetings. They are certainly Christian in content, which made his funny and insightful commentary on the people he knew loving instead of harsh or mean-spirited. And Gulley IS funny! Laughing-out-loud, read-it-to-your-spouse kind of funny. I thoroughly enjoyed this little book.

This will be off in the mail as soon as I get the next address. Thanks again, kayters!

There must be something about this book that we've all hung onto it a little longer than usual..I had completely forgotten that I had ever signed up for it! Plus, I received it several weeks ago and it has lingered around the house until I realized in horror I had never journaled my receipt...
It reminds me of Robert Fulghum, little snippets of folksy and/or Christian wisdom to savor..
Will finish soon and send off to Denmark!
10/26 - have PM'd Zenita for her address..

What a wonderul little book. It was a nice change to read little "real life" stories with value which is quite different from so much written today. I'm going to search out a few copies to give to friends as I know they would enjoy it too. Thanks for starting this ray back up Zenita. I have the address already for the next in line so it'll be on it's way to Canada tomorrow.

usually these type of books take me a bit longer to read. This was a surprisingly funny book at times and I caught myself laughing out loud. Mr Gulley wrote with honesty and I appreciated that tone -- it was as though I could of said some of the same things that he said. This book was a nice break from the novels and I appreciate the opportunity of reading it.

glade1 asked to be skipped so I am sending this off to jennifer671
