I love the mix of story and illustrations in this copy. This book is slipping into my bag for commute reading before being released.

This got here last week, however with the crazyness of the last week of the summer semester I haven't been able to journal them until now. Thanks so very much for the books Dancing-Dog!

8 out of 10

I caught this book as I was helping PrettyPoodle put books on the NTCRRS-OBCZ shelves. I grabbed it to enjoy with the intent to release it back when done.

I enjoyed the book. The story kept my interest all the while I was wondering why there was so much obvious high technology in a "backwards" world. That is explained in the end in a way that was OK for a juvenile audience - the clear target audience. I have not read a lot of Andre Norton's work to know if that is typical of his work.
