I caught this book at today's Audubon BookCrossing meeting. It's not on the 1001 book list, but looks really interesting. I plan to read and release it. Thanks!
Update 5/2/10: I tried reading this book, but I couldn't get into it. The writing style is really hard to understand. Here's what I mean:
The most independent people feel the effect of a man's silence in heightening their value for his opinion---feel an additional triumph in conquering the reverence of a critic habitually captious and satirical: no wonder, then, that an enthusiastic self-distrusting youth should watch and wait before the closed secret of a sarcastic woman's face, as if it were the shrine of the doubtfully benignant deity who ruled his destiny. (pg. 22)
What? Well, it's not the book for me. Hopefully someone else might enjoy it more.

If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy! Thanks and happy reading!
