Rogue
3 journalers for this copy...
From the book jacket..."For five years, Blake and Maxine have worked out an odd but amicable divorce, with friendly visits, a yacht that he lends her every summer, and three children they both adore. Blake enjoys his globe-trotting lifestyle while Maxine raises their kids and pursues her work as a world-renowned expert on childhood trauma and adolescent suicide. Then everything changes...For Maxine it starts when she falls in love with Dr. Charles West, who is everything Blake is not--mature, grounded, and present. For Blake, it begins when a devastating earthquake strikes near one of his palaltial foreign homes and leaves hundreds of children orphaned."
My thoughts...the book started slow and was very repetitious in the beginning. The characters were one-dimensional and I didn't really care what happened to them. The story was predictable.

it's here - thanks for the rabck.
I usually have very low expectations when reading any novel by Danielle Steele. Most of her current works barely scratch the surface of the characters and she tends to dwell on how perfect certain characters are. With that said, I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It is by no means a great piece of literature. However the story flowed nicely and I cared somewhat about the characters and the outcome of the novel (although with any Steele novel, the outcome is apparent within the first few pages of the book). This was a fun, quick read for the weekend.

Finally unwrapped as I disband the wrap-it up box. This one will be wild released in the near future. I hope it reaches loving readers and gets journaled many more times. Thanks, Aberpeter, for participating in the box and for the great book.
