Moral Disorder and other stories
3 journalers for this copy...
From the charity shop. I wish I have time to read this sooner than later.
I did read it sooner than later but I don't know what happend cause I didn't get much of this. I have liked Atwood's work before, The Handmaid´s Tale (Orjattaresi) is one of the best books ever, and Blind Assassin (Sokea surmaaja) was also a really good read.
With this book the beginning was difficult, then after awhile I thought I'd get into the book and started liking it (My Last Duchess) but then again I had to force myself to turn the pages. I like the idea that all of the short stories are linked together but there was just something that made my thoughts wander somewhere else than between this books pages. It's only 225 pages so I did finish it but with effort.
Maybe someone else likes it more than I did.

Thanks also for the cute postcard and bookmark...
Looking forward to reading it!

Currently reading it, so that it can continue travelling soon!
Despite a not very promising cover (I find the images quite disturbing, but I couldn't say why!), this is a rather unusual set of short stories, that can also be read as a novel, as they follow different moments in the life of the same woman.
It can make you laugh, it can make you think... Beautifully written.
I admired Ms Atwood (see pic) since I read "The Handmaid Tale", but I don't think I have ever read any other of her works.
Thanks for giving me this chance, Niksu... (and I love your Noddy!)
Soon to be sent to another Sweepstakes winner.
