Alias Grace
2 journalers for this copy...
Haven't read it yet, but just preparing it in case I get a chance to release it on an upcoming business trip.
Edit:
Alias Grace is a fictional look at the life of a celebrated Canadian murderess of the 19th Century. I enjoyed it, particularly the way certain events in the doctor's life strangely mirrored those of Grace. Excellent capture of the historical era, and Atwood does a marvellous job giving individual voices to the characters (bits of the novel are epistolary).

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Just sittin' on a bench.
Just sittin' on a bench.
Thanks to Nightguant. My wife picked this book up at the Convention Center in Orlando during our visit there a few days back. I just finished reading the book and my wife will start reading it sometime soon. So, I guess the status should be between "to be read" and "available".
I always wanted to read a canadian authored book and i got hold of this at the right time. The book was a fantastic read. The english style in this book is something that I have not come across before and i should say it has the longest sentences in english i have ever come across. It is based on a true story, with some author's invention here and there, and happened in a place called Richmond Hill (Ontario, Canada) where we often visit. That made the street names and cities cited in the novel very familiar and gave a kind of personal touch. I have a strong recommendation for this book to be read.
We will likely release the book soon somewhere in Waterloo, ON, or may be Europe in June.
Cheers!
