Amazon Review THE INFORMATION OFFICER is a good thriller, a stunning book about human beings surviving under extreme circumstances, an eye-opener for anyone who didn't know the 'Malta story' and a master-class in fluent storytelling. Yes, it's that good. --Mike Ripley - EuroCrime 'A forgotten corner of World War II rediscovered and expertly revealed to us. Fascinating and shrewdly compelling -- Mark Mills does it again' --William Boyd 'Mark Mills is a superb writer, and The Information Officer is a superb read' --Joesph O'Neill 'A lush, romantic thriller, skillfully crafted by master stylist Mark Mills' --George Pelecanos. I really enjoyed this book, I thought that it was better than The Savage Garden, which was his last novel. I found the setting in Malta during WW2 fascinating and was caught up in the story very quickly, all in all a very satisfying read.

Journal Entry 5 by potok-fan at Turku, Varsinais-Suomi Finland on Friday, November 05, 2010
I picked this book up in the summer, on a tour of OBCZ's with Colchester Karen. I'm long overdue in journalling it, because I got caught in a stupid tussle about trying to get the photos of our day off Mr Potok's phone... and then it got buried on Mount TBR. Sorry about that! photo still to come.
