I enjoyed this family drama written by Mark Haddon. It reminded me a bit of reading something by Nick Hornby. It was witty and wry and made me chuckle out loud in places. I like the way the chapters were very short. This kept the pace up and helped what could essentially be a dull family drama, more or a page turner. I liked the way observational humour was employed to stop this becoming to dry.
