I will place this book in the bookshelf by that cozy fireplace

I found this on the shelf in the Timothy's at Bay and College, as journaled. I was very tempted to take it, because I really enjoyed this book, and haven't read it in a few years (and reading a few sections in the Timothy's, I realized I've forgotten enough of it that I'm ready for a re-reading). But I thought I shouldn't be greedy, and I should leave it for someone else who it would be new to (and I highly recommend it). I'm hoping whoever takes it will make a journal entry so that I can see that it's been appreciated and my not being greedy this time was worthwhile (and I've left a note in the book suggesting this). I might come back in a few days if I haven't heard it's been taken, and take another glance at anything else on the shelf. Anyway, it's nice to discover another place in Toronto where people are leaving books, and this is a great BookCrossing find.

Journal Entry 4 by EerierIdyllMeme from Toronto, Ontario Canada on Monday, March 1, 2010
Ok, I got weak/greedy, and decided to go back for this one, because the book is a gem, and I worry that books left too long end up in the oubliette. And it'll make good travel reading, and I'm sure I'll eventually think of a friend who I should give it to, and so on. My note encouraging journaling seems to be gone, but I did discover a transfer from the Spadina streetcar (510) dated Sunday April 29, which would be 2007 at the latest, which is the sort of thing it's always fun to find in books, somewhere in the middle of the story "Los Alamos from Below", which is one of my favourites.

Anyway, I usually only read BookCrossing books when I travel, which means they go farther, and I don't have to cart them home when I'm done reading them, but it also means that it usually takes a few years before a book I've caught gets read and released. So it might be a while before this book travels again, but I haven't forgotten.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Left upstairs, on something just up the stairs so you can probably nip up and grab it even if the upstairs rooms are occupied. I didn't have a chance to ask them if I could leave the book, which is usually better, but if you can't find it, there's a chance that it's in a lost-and-found, so please ask if you're interested.

Enjoy the book! It's a fun read.
