It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

This book was written in 6 parts as an exercise in building a detailed planetary system from scratch, inventing ecologies and societies from the ground up. As an exercise it probably succeeds, though the different writing styles do grate a bit. You just get into one, and the next puts a completely different perspective on it. Quite interesting, but obviously contrived in places. Has some big name authors contributing, including Fred Pohl, Greg Bear and David Brin.

It’s taken quite some time for me to get around to reading this book considering that we picked it up in July last year. I had made several attempts to read this book, but lack of time and motivation meant that I did not get far. However the enforced immobility of a hospital stay provided that perfect opportunity to read through this book. A great read for fans of this genre.
