After Jane Wheel is profiled in a magazine, word of her PI success finds its way to Wren Bixby, owner of Bix Pix Flix in LA, and Jane takes up Bixby+s offer for the rights to her story. Arriving in Hollywood, Jane meets up with a screenwriting friend, Thom, whose old writing partner has just been murdered. And the only clue makes Thom a suspect. Jane sets out to solve her first big city murder mystery and discovers that in the buying and selling of Hollywood memories and memorabilia, it+s a murderous marketplace where the price can kill.

Picked up at meetup at Rhizome. I really enjoy Jane Wheel and her family and friends. I hope we eventually hear how Charlie and Nick made out on the dig. This was a rapidly moving trip through period Hollywood with a complex cast of writing characters.
