I may be the only reader in America who has never read a Dan Brown book. Really, I've been meaning to read "The Da Vinci Code" ever since it came out, and I have a copy on my TBR shelf. But if it's taken me years to get to that one, I can't justify hoarding this one right now, too. So I think I'll release it for someone who's already read the first book.
