After 3 years out of the LAPD Harry Bosch returns to find it a very different place. He is assigned with Kiz Rider to the Open Unsolved Unit to work on cold cases and are confronted with a case involving a white supremacist murdering a mixed race teenager.

Great book! I really didn't know which way the story was going to go and the ending was surprising. I always like Harry Bosch and it was good to read another book about him. It was fun too that it was an old case he was working on, it made the pace not so intense, but definitely more interesting.

I thought I had journaled this book while still in Canada!
Though this was the first book I read in the series, this did not take anything away from my enjoyment. There was enough bakcground to help me understand the story.
