Picked up the 4th in this series. I've reallly liked the others, very funny reads. I'm going to read this one and add it to the collection that I will be giving my brother for his 60th Birthday in March.

Many thanks, Poobah1

They just keep getting better. This one is the prequel to the whole series. It's the story of Agnes' Grandmother and Mother and, of course, Agnes' early life before Redser Browne. Really well done. I've enjoyed all four of them and wish there were more.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

This one is for John's 60th birthday from his little sister. We'll be up at the cabin celebrating in serious fashion and I'll leave this whole series (4) by this author up there for cabin reading. I doubt that he'll make a journal entry on any of them but if they ever get loose...we may hear from them sometime. Either way, I hope he'll get a good chuckle out of the witty, sharp writing of Brendan O'Carroll on a subject that John felt near and dear to his heart after reading "Angela's Ashes" by Frank McCourt. John is #5 and I am #9 of a big Irish family that can somewhat relate! Happy Birthday to John!

To the lucky "Finder" of this book:

Hi and Thanks for picking up my book. You’ve stumbled upon a BookCrossing book. It’s a cool website for the catching and releasing of FREE books. I’ve stealthily stashed this book and you’ve come upon it. I may or may not have read this book (you can tell by the journal note above this one) but it’s yours now. Sometimes I just acquire books, don’t have a chance to read them and I set them free for others to share. Making the world a library! Scoot around on the site-it’s easy, safe and spam free. Please make a journal entry when you FIND the book and again when you re-release it. It’s a blast to watch them travel and to hear from them once in a while. It’s sort of like a message in a bottle and it passes on the good karma of reading! Have a great time with this book and I hope you like BookCrossing!

Cheers,
Poobah1 :^)
