Either way, I hope you'll make a journal entry so all previous and future readers can track this book's journey. Happy reading and Happy BookCrossing!

This is a deep, subtle, psychological portait of the famous writer Henry James. The style of writing is brilliant. And there is a certain kind of melancholy running though the novel that is put into words in such a beautiful way. Certainly deserved to be shortlisted for the Booker Prize.
