Recently watched the film of this book and thought it would be nice to read the book as well. This was the second of a 2 for £5 offer (the other being Moby Dick) and am intrigued to see the similarities and differences between the film and the book. I usually find the book is better, but we'll see.
I did quite enjoy this book but unusually for me, I thought the film was better! And as I had already watched the film I was just waited for the parts I remembered to happen. Average read; I think I said it was a bit like a poor man's Stephen King novel.
