This was a very unique book and I enjoyed it a lot - the zombie terror was disturbing in a very subtle way.

What an epic Zombie book :) The Hardest Part of a Zombie Apocalypse Will be Pretending I'm Not Excited! I liked how this book showed lots of different accounts of the zombie war from around the world and in different stages. You would think a Zombie war would bring the world together but it seemed politics still got in the way. A must read for any zombie fan.

Received this morning from redfox5 as part of the Never Won a Sweepstake UK/EU sweepstake. Thank you for sending me this wishlist book! :D
I'm not a huuuuge fan of zombies as such, but I love exploring views on how the world would react to a global crisis of any kind. I've heard good things about this book and really look forward to reading it! It might take me a while before I can dig in as I've got rings and rays trickling in constantly, but I'll get to it sooner or later... This one definitely isn't leaving my shelf without me reading it first! ;)

*possible spoilers*
I found it interesting that there are almost no ties to the movie, which was (presumably) based on the book. I fault the book for not having fast zombies like in the movie. ;-) That was refreshing, seeing zombies that were actually fast and not the cliche hands-out-front, shuffling, slow, moaning zombies. Alas, that's EXACTLY what they're like in the book. *sigh*
That minor detail aside, I quite enjoyed the book; liked the subtle and not so subtle jabs at our skewed society and humanity in general.

Thank you, vedranaster, for this book. It looks most interesting. I enjoy zombies movies and but I don't think I have read any zombies book. This will be a treat.
===============
An amazing book. It is a unique take on zombies. Imaginative and different. Like vedranaster, I liked the jabs at society and humanity. I enjoyed this one very much.
