Jill Ker Conway is a historian and the first woman president of Smith College. This book tells about her childhood and life in Australia until she left in her early twenties to come to the USA. She talks a lot about her views on the Australian culture and history. I found this very interesting because we are leaving shortly for a trip for Australia.
