Journal Entry 4 by amyem at Algiers, 40 Brattle Street, Harvard Sq. in Cambridge, Massachusetts USA on Tuesday, July 12, 2011
Released 10 mos ago (7/12/2011 UTC) at Algiers, 40 Brattle Street, Harvard Sq. in Cambridge, Massachusetts USA WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Planned for release at July Boston Meetup. After releasing this I found that had actually NOT included my review so it follows: I kept trying to compare this with some works of Western lit (Jane Austen seems a commmon comparision) but it was hard to find common ground. There was a tremdous amount of detail and it moved slowly. I think because I am unfamilar with traditional Japanese culture (and how it was changing in the 20th century), I missed alot that went on. I mostly ended up feeling drowned in the details and not really knowing why everything was happening.
