Oh, what an interesting and tender story of love and redemption. So many times we let our pride get in the way of truly living our lives. I enjoyed this story. It was sad and tender.
I read it as part of Gzusgirl's TBR VBB! I am glad I finally read it as it has been on my shelf for years! Happy travels little book.

6 out of 10

I finished this on 02/24/10. I loved these women. I really wish I had an Anita in my life :)

Some SPOILERS:

I was not expecting the book to end the way that it did. I cried like a baby when Georgia died. I had no idea. I was thinking that if anyone was going to die it would be Anita. My heart hurt for Georgia and her Dakota and all of their friends. I wasn't prepared for her to die at all, and especially dying of cancer. My best friend died 2 years ago from cancer and it still hurts and this book opened up the wounds. I loved Georgia and Dakota's relationship and I was happy that they were able to go to Scotland and have all these other things/people brought back into Georgia's life before it ended.

Thank you for sharing this book with me. I will probably be saving it for an up coming book box.
