This book is written like a children's book, but is most certainly not a children's book. It is a gripping story about a young boy named Bruno, who is the son of a Nazi officer during the holocaust, and Bruno makes friends with one of the most unlikely people.
I read this, along with Eichmann in Jerusalem for that same strange class in which I read Whinnie the Pooh.
