From the back:
Lou Suffern wishes he could be in two places at once. His constant battle with the clock is a sensitive issue with his wife and family.
Gabe is the homeless man who sits outside Lou's office. When Lou invites Gabe into the building and into his life, Lou's world is changed beyond all measure...
An enchanting and thoughtful Christmas story that speaks to all of us about the value of time and what is truly important in life.
***
Yes, Ahern's imagination runs wild again. A person in distress faces something magical and unimaginable. Miracles happen at worst of times and family values rise above all. There's a compulsory tear jerker moment together with hopefulness and a lesson to be learned.
In my opinion, this falls to the same category with Where Rainbows End and If You Could See Me Now - none rise to the level of PS I Love You. A quick read with obvious solutions, but doesn't leave a lasting impression.

Thank you so much, pippis! I really want to read this as I just love Cecelia Ahern. But it'll go to my shelf for now as I have heaps of books to read...
I loved it! Ahern is really one of my favourite writers and for a reason. The books are easy to read and I love the chaptering.
The story was a bit of a fairytale but a fairytale for adults. Few times I was thinking "Seriously..." but the obvious magic was still quite nice - you know it's not possible and doesn't exist but the same time you have this tiny hope of "maybe it does". And when I finished the books my first thought was that I need go to see my parents more often. So, lesson learned.
I now declare the Christmas season finally opened! :)

The book arrived safely. Thank you so much, bookwormess.
