Since Sue Grafton is up to "U" now, I figured these must be really good. Maybe I was expecting too much. This one, the first one, wasn't that great--Kinsey Millhone is almost a caricature of a female PI. I will probably read the next one to see if they get better and if she fleshes Kinsey out a little more.
