Journal Entry 1 by daniellechonody from Dallas, Texas USA on Tuesday, December 29, 2009
Such a clever way the author has written this book from Enzo (the dogs) perspective. A strange mix of car racing and pet theme but very entertaining. It was recommended to me by a salesperson at Borders and as a dog lover I loved it!

Journal Entry 4 by Moeshell from Richardson, Texas USA on Monday, February 08, 2010
I loved this book. This was such a great story from such an interesting point of view. Took a little while to get used to reading and remembering that it is the dog speaking, but in the end the story just wouldn’t be the same if from any other’s point of view. There are so many great quotable lines through out this book. I laughed out loud several times. I cried in the busy waiting room at the tire shop while reading and waiting on my car. From a person that isn't necessarily a dog lover, it is still a wonderful and enjoyable book. Now don’t take that wrong, I like dogs. I just don't like to live with dogs. I prefer cats. Waiting to get collectorkerri’s address and will send on its merry way.

What a special book. I so would love to have a dog like Enzo; unfortunately, we lost our dog a couple months ago and are having to take a break from dog-owning for awhile. It was so interesting to have the story told from the point of view of the dog; it could have been cutesy and twee, but it certainly wasn't. Enzo had some profound observations about humans. The book is off to nancynova for the next leg of its journey.

Loved it - although I think he could have gotten by without the last chapter. Hmmm...i wonder if his in-laws are related to my in-laws aka "the outlaws". Thankfully no court case, but they didn't behave any better when the hubby died than the "twins". Learned so much about car racing - who knew?

Got it today! Just have to finish the book I'm on now and I'll get it started. :) EDIT 4/23/10: Finished it and thought it was wonderful! I'm not sure I completely agree with the people who say it's an uplifting book, because though the selflessness of Enzo is incredibly poignant, the events affecting the humans in the book are rather depressing. It did have a happy ending though and I'm very glad I read it.

Journal Entry 13 by Stacers1973 from Gladstone, Oregon USA on Tuesday, May 04, 2010
Arrived safely in today's mail, thanks! I am almost through with my current book so this one is next up! Wow this was a good read, thanks for sharing! The Twins made me so mad I almost skipped ahead to see what happened! But I didn't and I am glad I read things in their proper order. Enzo is like, superdog, the dog we all wish we could have. He made me laugh (and cry) and I could see how he was a tie that helped their family stay together when things were falling apart. Enjoyable reading. I PMed Sarkiegirl (5/11/2010) and will ship off when I get her mailing info.

It started off slowly, maybe cause I don't like racing stuff, but I got into it and I was hooked!!! I loved Enzo, and the fact that he was the narrator...and I cried like a baby at the end! Thank you for introducing me to this book! I have told many people about it afterward!!

WOW, thanks for this book, and I'm happy I'm last on the bookray list, this way I can read it when I have the time rather than rushing myself to read all the others that have come through in the last week (why, oh why do they all come at the same time?) Anyway, thanks for sending and making me part of this ray, thanks

Journal Entry 19 by Jonniboi at Birmingham, West Midlands United Kingdom on Monday, August 09, 2010
I finished this one today, I went to bed last night at midnight (12am) and woke up at 4am needing something to drink, tried getting back to sleep and that failed so I decided to read more of this book, I had 200 pages left so I was surprised when I was still reading at 8am in the morning and finally finished it not long after, I heard my dad go off to work, aswell. I totally loved this book, it's definitely special, and I had a little tear in my eye when Enzo talked about guarding Eve all night, that was soooooo cute! But GOD those grandparents were evil to Denny! I loved this amazing book, and had to agree with some bits as my dog does exactly the same. I want Enzo! Also I loved the ending, it sounds impossible but also amazing! Going to pass this through the family before I release it!
