You have made my day special, ghir, THANK YOU! Three books and the calendar arrived today, there was hardly space for the newspapers in the mailbox today :)
My son has read Louis Sachar in Finnish and liked his books a lot. Now he's studying in a bilingual class with English orientation - I think this book could be perfect for him, too. That's why I'll put the status as 'RESERVED', it perhaps takes him a while to read in English. Some day the book will travel again...

This was such a cute story, I felt deep sympathy for Marvin! It would be nice to read the other Marvin-stories of this series as well...

Dropping this book and some bonus surprises into the mailbox of a fellow-bookcrosser as part of the "Challenge of gratitude". It is my way of saying, thanks to you for registering your books and sending them out into the world.

Santa's little helpers had visited my mailbox (not literally, though) and left a lovely little surprise. I was really surprised when I saw the BC plastic bag looming in between the Sunday newspaper when I got home last night. I was pretty sure who the culprit was as I knew that she had visited my mailbox previously :-) I was really tempted to eat the chocolate bars but I resisted myself and will enjoy it later - maybe tonight, I don't have that strong a will power :-) The book looks like an enjoyable read so maybe I'll read it will munching the chocolate. I still can't help smiling when I think about lukutuoli's surprise...

I just loved this book! The story was funny, it has a nice twist and the ending is so sweet. I couldn't help bursting into laughter a couple of times. Maybe I'll give this to my 10 year old niece just to see if she already knows enough English to read this.
