Back cover A community devoured by greed, cowardice and fear. A man persecuted by the ghosts of his painful past. A young woman searching for happiness. In one eventful week, each of them will face questions of life, death and power, and each of them will have to choose their own path. Will they choose good or evil? I enjoyed this more than By The River Piedra but less than Veronika Decides to Die, the other two books in the "And on the Seventh Day" trilogy. Set up like all his books with a moral/spiritual message, the unfolding of the dilemmas faced by the inhabitants of Viscos was interesting and the ending apt.
