Sheer Mischief
5 journalers for this copy...
It's not that Janey Sinclair isn't pleased to see her sister. It's just that being woken at seven by Maxine, complete with police escort, isn't quite how she'd planned to spend her Sunday. Even so Janey, who's just rebuilding her life after her husband disappeared, is delighted that her sister's back in the Cornish town where they grew up. When Maxine sets her sights on Guy Cassidy, an impossibly glamorous fashion photographer, Janey knows there's no limit to the mischief her sister will get up to...

Sweet and funny but a bit too long for my taste.
Off to disneyfreaksam now, hope you will enjoy it :)
Thank you so much, and for being my first one back after a long time. I will get to this one next.

This was okay but nothing special, found the sister too selfish and too annoying. The story twisted and turned on a couple of occasions in directions I did not expect.
Received in the return of one of my bookboxes.
This looks and sounds like an easy read between my usual murder/mystery /thriller genres and akin to those I have read as "womens fiction". I have read one other by this author but it was obviously so easy that I have completely forgotten what it was called, oops.

Well, as I expected really. An easy piece of fluff reading with some quite amusing moments which did have some unexpected twists (eg. Thea and Oliver, Bruno) but have to agree with disneyfreaksam re the extra annoying, overly selfish sister to whom I was wholly unsympathetic. Some of the situations struck me as very contrived and unrealistic but it is an easy reading book - not something to think about as you read. I may read another by this author if I come across it but I will not be going out of my way to find any, sorry.
I have no plans at present for this book but it will probably go out again in another bookbox.
