This journal (packing slip) will be traveling with the cassette audio bookbox. Please journal here when you receive the book box, AND make a controlled release note (or journal entry) with the tracking (confirmation) number and the date the box is shipped to the next participant. Please journal only the books that you keep, please do not journal every book in the box. I don’t care if you ship by media mail, but I do request that you use delivery confirmation with whatever shipping method you use. I do request that you ship the box to the next person quickly. I think one week to ten days is plenty of time to take books out and put books in. Please check this journal entry for shipping order changes. Please trade fairly. Please replace at least the same number of books that you take out. For example: If you choose 10 books from the box, then replace at least 10 books. English only please. No duplicate titles in the box at the same time. For example if “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks is in the box, then please don’t include a second copy of “The Notebook”. I will be including 33 cassette audio books in this bookbox! Wow, I didn't realize that I had that many audio books here. Some people like to list the book titles taken out and put in, some people just the number of books out/in... either way is fine with me. Some of these books I have listened to, some I have not. Its snowing and blowing and freezing cold today. However, a nice package arrive on my doorstep and put a smile on my face. Oooh! Audiobooks!! I'm gonna sit by the fireplace and search through the box for some goodies. :-)

The book box landed on my porch with a big rip in the side - I don't think any of the books escaped, but just started pulling them from the hole and journaling, before I finally got smart and read the instructions! I've spent the day sorting and actually listened to 2 books, so they will go back in after I make a journal entry. I will have the box off again by the end of the week.

This large box was speedier than media mail usually is: it took only 2 weeks to get to me rather than the standard 3. I like the colorful journal and I'll be sure to leave a note in there.

At least four of the books in this box have passed through my hands before, not counting the five I actually registered. I'm thinking about taking out some of the ones I started and donating them to fieryfairy for her chemo center project rather than having them make the rounds again..but I haven't decided yet.

I'll try to figure out what I'm putting in and taking out as quickly as possible so I can get the box moving again.

sp4home says she doesn't need/want any of her original books back, so I'm editing my selections a bit.

In addition to the ones mentioned before, I will remove the 11 audiobooks from the original list still in the box and will try to find new homes for them:
