In Cindy and the Prince, Cindy is the cleaning lady and Thorndike Prince is the VP of the company. Cindy snags a ticket to the company ball out of a trash can while cleaning, and crashes the ball pretending to be Cinderella. She never expects Thorne to pursue her, break off his almost engagement and fall in love with her!; in Some Kind of Wonderful, Judy (aka the Beauty) agrees to visit John's (aka the Beast) beach paradise to save her father's business. But she realizes that John isn't really ruthless, he's just never known love & of course she falls in love with him to save him from himself; in Almost Paradise, the director of genius camp hires flighty counselor. She's everything that he's not, believes any kid should be a kid and sparks fly!

Choosing to read this for Plum-crazy's "what tor read for MAY" theme of weddings (LOVE applies). When I pulled this book, I see that it is actually 3 books in one-the Legendary Lovers series. Book 1) Cindy and The Prince, I read in 2013, Book 2) Some Kind of Wonderful, I read in 2016. So, Book 3) Almost Paradise is the one I will be reading.

I have enjoyed reading the his book sitting on
Surfside (for those outside of SC, part of Myrtle Beach). I love Macomber books because a kiss is about as much passion as you ever get and there is always a happy ending.

In this 3 for 1 book Ms Macomber has done her best to introduce three fairy tale stories all with Macomber style happy endings. 1st. Cindy and the Prince. Cindy is a cleaning lady who finds a discarded ticket to a ball. She goes pretending to be Cinderella. Of course, the prince will come after her, that is Thorne Prince. 2nd. Some Kind of Wonderful. Beauty goes to the Beasts private island to save her fathers business. They fall in love. She has tamed the Beast. 3rd. Almost Paradise. Sherry White takes a summer camp job as a bunk leader to seven intellectually gifted children. The camp director Jeff Roarke is handsome but a dictatorial man. Sherry tries to bring fun and games into the cabin to let her wards be children for awhile. Roarke thinks only educational things should be allowed to stimulate the children's minds. So the two of them clash, but they seem to be drawn to each other in spite of their differences. Of course, there is a happy ending to each of the stories.
