this was just as nice a read as all other Redwall books I've read so far. I especially like that ;r- Jacques has strong, fighting females as well as cooking-loving males and also the other way round. And I totally like the different dialects spoken, like the mole-speak and of course the dibbuns :)

Thank you so much for this book, the surprise brightened my day! I can't wait until it reaches to top of my TBR pile, but my 10 year old has expressed an interest in reading it first. Thank you again for this surprise!
This is now the next book on my TBR pile and will be starting it tonight. Looking forward to this one, especially after the emotional book I just finished, thanks again!

Call it part of my 2020 Resolutions, eleven years is too long to sit on my bookshelf.
