Received as a RABCK from booklady331 -- thanks! Who in my generation doesn't love Mr. Rogers and consider him a friend? This should be a lovely read. Really looking forward to it.

What a wonderful little book! I think that I will be purchasing some copies of this to give to a lot of people in my life. How lovely to discover that as warm and kind and generous as Mr. Rogers always was on television in my childhood, it was nothing compared to the greatness of his real-life soul. Like most of the people who grew up with the Neighborhood, I would say that Mr. Rogers was also my friend, and I am almost envious of Madigan's friendship and experiences with him. But I am mostly grateful that he shared them with us in this book.

There are only two reasons I can even think about parting with this little gem -- one is the promise I made to myself that every book I get through Book Crossing would be passed along to anyone else and the second is that I know the perfect person to share this with, someone that I am proud of and whose friendship I value.

I sent this off to Atlanta to a woman I've never met but am very proud to call my friend -- my twin (we have the same first and last name and work for the same large gov't agency). She is someone whose life and work embody Mr. Rogers' philosophies, so I know she will enjoy it. IPOY, Twin!
