Well, this is probably one of the best novels I have read lately. With a final twist (I won't spoil it fo you!), very well written. A real pleasure to read, and a true page-turner!
This is my first book by Mr Lehane, but I will surely look for more, if they are similar to this one. Stephen King meets Edgar Allan Poe, as was suggested in one of the reviews!
I already have the address of the next-in-line, and this book will soon be on its way to London.
Thanks for sharing, and enjoy!

Finished a few days ago. I liked the book, though when the aforementioned plot twist took place I expected the ending to be a little different,... but still, an entertaining read!

Hurray - finally it turned up. Sorry guys for the delay - I moved house and set up post redirection, but somehow this slipped through the net so I had to pop back to London to get it from the new residents of my house. Will read it asap and get it moving again.
Thanks for the patience and sorry for the delay. x

Really good. I enjoyed this, it's a clever plot and contains plenty of suspense and twists. Thanks so much for sharing!
KanaPoutz no longer wanted to be part of the ring, so it's on it's way to Totje2 in the Netherlands. Posted this morning.

This book arrived in my mailbox today.Thank you ChrissyHam for sending it to me. I'm looking forward to read it very much.
Usually I read the book first and see the movie later: this time I do it the other way around, read the book after I saw the movie.
Will see if I can comapre the two.

Entering this ring I thought it would be nice to read the book that the film was based upon. Well, the idea was good, but.... I did not get into the book. I tried in different ways, different times, places, moods, but I simply do net get it.
I'm not saying it is a bad book, or badly written, just not for me at this moment.
I've sent slb453 a PM, to sent the book on.
I'm sorry I held up the ring for a while!
ETA that slb543 asked to be skipped and now I've sent a PM to esq228.

This book was captivative. I'm normally quite slow with English written books, but this one I swallowed almost whole, in few days altough I had loads of things to do.. things I more or less skipped :D
The language was easy for non-English-speaker and the developing of the plot kept twisting and giving chills of excitement. Over all it was a nice reading experience. Some ways predictable, but could still hold the tention right 'till the last page.
Thank you so much for the ring!
I'll send the book to the next reader asap :)

Just wanted to let everyone know that today I'll be finishing my previous ring book and will be starting Shutter Island tomorrow. If it's as much of a page turner as everybody says, it shouldn't take long. I'll PM the next person in line for their addy right away so that I can promptly ship as soon as I've finished.
Oooh, can't wait to get started!! :)

I loved this book! The style is easy to read and just flows, the plot almost never seems to stop developing, and even though I knew I could expect twists, they were not predictable (except for the last one) and I just kept turning the pages. If there ever was such a thing as a page turner, this book is it for me. I think I'll be getting a copy for my permanent collection! :D
Thanks again, Moeshell, for organizing this ring, I'm glad I finally got to read the book.
I've already got Silvia-pco's address, so the book will be on it's way after the weekend.

First of all, I'm sorry it took me so long to read this book. It was actually a fast read, but it was my Mt. TBR that stopped me from picking it up earlier.
This might as well be one of the best thrillers I've read so far. I'm studying Psychology, so the fact that the plot is set on a Psychiatric Hospital was enough to catch my interest. But is is also very well written, in a way that you just can't stop reading - as other readers have said, the story just flows, and you find it very easy to read.
The twist in the end was, of course, amazingly put together and very well built. There was a point when I started to expect it to happen, but nonetheless it didn't fail to impress me.
I'm glad I didn't see the movie before reading the book; I'm very curious now to see how the plot was put together on film :)
Thank you so much for sharing, Moeshell. I've just PMed you and will be awaiting your instructions regarding this book. :)
